Osun State Gov. Aregbesola Reduces Ministries From 17 To 12

The governor of the state of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has cut down the number of ministries in the state from 17 to 12 thus creating one new ministry, while merging others.

In a letter of notification forwarded to the Speaker of the state’s House of Assembly, Najeem Salaam, Governor Aregbesola stated that while there would be 12 ministries, nine agencies and bureaus had been brought under his office for direct supervision.
The governor while urging the Speaker to communicate the development to members of the House, also explained that the decision was taken to reduce the cost of governance as well as enhance service delivery.

Aregbesola explained that the decision to restructure was arrived at after a reappraisal of the machinery of government.

The letter, titled ‘Notification of the Restructuring of Some Existing Ministries and Creation of a New Ministry in the State of Osun’, was dated January 21, 2016.

The 12 ministries listed in the letter to the House of Assembly are: Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security, and Youths Engagement; Ministry of Industries, Commerce, Cooperatives and Empowerment; Ministry of Economic Planning, Budget and Development; Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; Ministry of Environment, Sanitation and Physical Planning; Ministry of Finance; Ministry of Health; Ministry of Information, Home Affairs, Tourism and Culture; Ministry of Justice; Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, Water Resources, and Community Affairs; Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Affairs; and Ministry of Works and Transport.

According to the letter, the nine agencies and bureaus that would be operating directly under the office of the governor are, Office of Regional Integration; Sports Council; Department of Social and Grassroots Mobilization and Guidance; Office of Policy Coordination; Osun Job Centre; Bureau of Lands; Pilgrims Welfare Board (Christian Wing); Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing) and Office of Forestry, Natural and Mineral Resources.

FG will Generate 2million Jobs

The Minister of Communications, Mr. Adebayo Shittu, has said that the Federal Government will create two million jobs from the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector.  He said investors from China would be investing 15 billion dollars in the sector.

He spoke at the maiden Nigeria Communications retreat organized by the Federal Ministry of Communications, at International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Ibadan on Friday.

He said: “Information and Communication Technology today creates more jobs than oil and gas and that can further be enjoyed, as investors from China would be investing N15 billion dollars in the ICT sector in Nigeria. So, potential two million jobs will be made available through investments in the sector,” he said.

The minister also disclosed that 550 post offices in different Local Government Areas in the country would soon start engaging in financial services like internet services, call services apart from the traditional letter posting.

“The time has now come to fully embrace ICT to enhance our lives, to enhance transparency and good governance if we are to really fulfill the “change” mantra that Nigerians voted President Muhammadu Buhari to bring about,” he said.

Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, in his address  urged stakeholders in the sector to evolve new ways that will take Nigeria out of the doldrums and re-launch its economy.

The governor observed that ICT was useful in virtually all aspects of human life, especially now that crude oil price was experiencing a free fall in the international market, thus impacting negatively on the nation’s economy.

Quoting the National Bureau of Statistics, Ajimobi said that ICT was a major contributor to Nigeria’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) with 8.68 per cent, adding that the country was the largest ICT user in Africa, with over 94 million internet users.

Besides, he noted that ICT had created over 12 million jobs in the country in the last two years, stressing that it could create even more if necessary frameworks were put in place.

The governor, who cited the examples of United States of America, China and some Asian countries which, he said, had used ICT to re-launch their economies, pointed out that the time had come for Nigeria to transit from an agrarian economy to a knowledge-based one, with ICT serving as the driver.

“I like to call on all stakeholders to come together to device a realistic blueprint for growth and improvement in employment rate.  America, China and many other Asian countries have used ICT to re-launch their countries and their economy,’’ he said.

He called on participants at the retreat to develop realistic strategies on how to use ICT, which he described as an imaginative and innovative sector, to create employment or to convert youths to employment generators.

“We are in the era of change. Ours is a government of change. Let us all come together to make ICT a change agent,’’ the governor said.

He added that this could be achieved by encouraging Nigerians through regular enlightenment on the benefits of information technology, as well as by fashioning out appropriate legal framework by the National Assembly to develop ICT.

Ajimobi also called for the repositioning of Nigerian Postal Services (NIPOST), rather than crippling it, by aligning it with global development in ICT.

In his presentation, the Rwandan Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Kamanzi Stanislas, spoke on the evolution of ICT in his country since 2001, saying that his country had benefitted immensely from information technology.

He said that ICT had been applied in local transportation, automated passenger clearance system at airports, government command centre, robust electronic citizen registry, holding meetings without borders, running a paperless government, as well as offering all government services online

CHIDINMA-"MY PASTOR QUERIED ME AFTER I KISSED FLAVOUR"

For some months back, it has been in the news and rumored that two talented singers, Flavour and Chidinma could be possibly having hot romance while considering the rate at which they continue to kiss when they work together.

In several interviews, both stars have continued to deny that there is nothing romantically brewing between them but some fans still find it hard to believe.

Chidinma was recently on TVC entertainment programme monitored where she emphatically stated that there is nothing between her and Flavour except a working relationship.

She further narrated that her Pastor did ask her to explain what she meant by the kiss was not real but she told him it was just acting and nothing real.

Speaking about her continuous kiss with Flavour, Chidinma said, “My pastor asked me to explain when I said the kiss between I and flavour is not real but we were just acting,” noting that “I and flavour are cool and after work, we move unto the next one.”

The Main Source of Boko Haram

The Borno Elders Forum yesterday said all the. persons being manipulated in the controversial theft of funds meant to purchase arms for soldiers combating insurgency in northeast Nigeria are the real sponsors of Boko Haram. The group said President Muhammadu Buhari should not waste his time searching for those funding Boko Haram as the arms deal controversy had uncovered those to be punished for all the destruction in the north east. The Borno elders made this comment in a statement signed by their chairman, Ambassador Gaji Galtimari. They said: “Much has been said about the sponsors of Boko Haram. With the horrifying revelations about the ‘Arms Deal’, it is no longer necessary to continue delaying the search for the real sponsors of Boko Haram. Those who collected such huge sums of money from the national treasury and converted same for their unending greed and avarice should be regarded as part and parcel of the sponsors of Boko Haram. Get them and you will get the rest. “The people who sponsored the activities of Boko Haram or those who deliberately turned away from their official responsibilities on security issues, or those who looted the funds meant for the prosecution of the war against Boko Haram, and those who spoke or continue to speak in their favour are all one and the same. “They all individually and collectively aided and sponsored the Boko Haram insurgency. They colluded to ensure the death of our brave soldiers, our innocent people and the near total destruction of our society. Nigerians should stand by us and collectively assist to bring those responsible to book. “The elders, who had been a strong critical voice at the way and manner the former government went about prosecuting the Boko Haram insurgency, said the revelations coming from the arms deal scandal had vindicated them.

Full History Constitutional Development in Nigeria

Nigeria is a creation of the Constitution. Nigeria became
internationally recognised independent nation, in 1960, after a
period of colonialism under the British government which
spanned about a century beginning with the formal annexation
of Lagos in 1861. Nigeria’s constitutional development history
can be divided into two epochs or generations: the colonial or
pre-independence epoch –which covers 6 constitutional
instruments (1914, 1922, 1946, 1951, 1954 and 1960) and the
post-independence constitutional epochs (encompassing 3
instruments - 1963, 1979 and 1999). While each successive pre-
independence constitutional instrument was enacted through an
order-in-council of the British monarch, their post-
independence counterparts were enacted in two ways: an Act of
parliament (1963 Constitution) and military decree (1979 and
1999).
The one ‘Nigeria’ story began in 1914 with the Frederick Lugard
Constitution. The 1914 Constitution amalgamated the Colony and
Protectorate of Southern Nigeria with the Protectorate of Northern
Nigeria under the colonial authority of the British Monarch. The
emergent entity was administered under the authority of the
British monarch through her appointed agent: a Governor-
General. Lord Frederick Lugard was the 1st Governor-General of
amalgamated Nigeria. The 1914 Constitution created a Legislative
Council of the Colony which was however restricted to making
laws for the Colony of Lagos alone, whilst the Governor General
made laws for the rest of the country.
Eight years later, the 1914 Constitution was replaced by the 1922
Sir Clifford Constitution. Notably, the latter Constitution
established a 46 member Legislative Council which was given
law making responsibilities for the Colony of Lagos and the
southern provinces. The Council had 27 members including the
Governor, the Lieutenant-Governors, other elected and
nominated members including three representing Lagos as the
administrative and commercial capital and one representing

Calabar as a big commercial centre. Notably, the 1922
Constitution introduced, for the first time in any British African
territory, the elective principle with Lagos and Calabar being
granted the franchise to elect their representatives to the
Legislative Council.
1946 saw the adoption of the Arthur Richard Constitution which
defined Nigeria, for the first time, in terms of regions - thus
dividing the still colonised country into three main regions: the
Northern, Western and Eastern regions. This constitution came
into effect after the Second World War – an event which had a
significant effect on constitutional reforms relating to the
governance of colonial Nigeria, and indeed Africa as a whole, as
returning African heroes of the war who were conscripted to fight
on the side of the British returned with a deeper understanding
of national freedom and international sovereignty. In addition,
the charter of the United Nations which was adopted after the
war made strong reference to the freedom of colonised peoples
under the principle of respect for self-determination.
The chain of events culminated in the formation of the National
Council for Nigeria and Cameroons, which later became the
National council of Nigerian Citizens, (N.C.N.C), an organization
which engaged in the active mobilization of the indigenous
peoples of Nigeria to harness the global tide in favour of self-
determination and political independence from the shackles of
colonialism. The 1946 Constitution was thus a compromise
instrument on the part of the British colonialist designed to
establish a constitutional framework in which all sections of
Nigeria could be represented on the Legislative Council and
which guarantees an unofficial majority both in the House of
Assembly and in the legislative council for indigenous Nigerians.
Five years later, the 1946 Richards Constitution was again
ditched in favour of the 1951 Sir John Macpherson Constitution.
Whereas its successor suffered from the charge of being an
imposition of the British colonialists without any input from the
indigenous people of Nigeria, the 1951 Macpherson Constitution
came into being after an unprecedented process of consultation
with the peoples of Nigeria. According to Dikemgba “no other
constitution so widely reached out to the people than the
Macpherson constitution of 1951”. Instructively, meetings and
consultations leading down to its making were held at 5 levels –
Village, District, Divisional, Provincial and Regional levels –
before the national conference. The regional conferences were
held at Ibadan, Enugu and Kaduna, respectively and produced a
general consensus in favour of a federal system of government
with a few differences as to its format. The emergent
Constitution represented a major advancement on the old
constitutional order by introducing African elected majorities in
the Central Legislature and in the Regional Houses of Assembly;
endowing the legislative houses with independent legislative
power in many area of state activity; and establishing a federal
system for Nigeria for the first time.
Nonetheless, within three years of its operation, it soon became
clear that the expansion of the political space and regional
identities fostered by the 1951 Constitution were not backed up
by the requisite institutional framework or insightful national
leadership for the management of inherent and other tensions or
conflict, at the national and regional levels, which followed its
enactment. In the wake of reports of violent eruptions in the
northern city of Kano which pitched northerners against
southerners leading to massive loss of lives and property, the
then British Secretary of State for the Colonies, Oliver Lyttleton
stepped in by inviting the leaders of various political parties in
Nigeria to attend a conference in London, in 1953. The outcome
of that conference and another cycle of conference and
consultations which followed was the 1954 Lyttleton
Constitution.
The 1954 Constitution, among others, made regional
governments independent of the central government in respect
of subjects and legislative powers allocated to them. It also
established a unicameral legislature for the federal government
and each of the 3 regional governments. In addition, Lagos was
taken out of the control of any regional government and made
the Federal Capital Territory; regional public services were
established for each of the 3 regions; the judiciary was
reorganised so as to establish regional judiciaries while
autonomy was granted to the Southern Cameroons which was up
till that time part of a larger Nigeria and Northern Cameroons.
Specifically, for the first time, Ministers were given specific
portfolios. Thus, the Lyttleton Constitution could best be
described as the transition instrument towards Nigeria’s
independence in 1960 under a federal structure with
democratically elected federal and regional legislature.
In 1960, Nigeria was granted political independence as a
sovereign state under the 1960 Constitution which provided for a
parliamentary system of government, 3 regions (Northern,
Eastern and Western Regions), a bicameral legislative framework
at the federal (Senate and House of Representatives) and
regional levels (House of Assembly and House of Chiefs) with
the legislative powers of government delineated into three
categories or lists - exclusive, concurrent and residual. The
parliamentary system designed under the 1960 constitution
recognized the British monarch as the Head of State with powers
to appoint a resident agent- the Governor-General- to exercise
executive powers on her behalf while a Prime Minister elected by
the federal parliament acted as the Head of the federal Executive
Council. The Constitution also took steps to define ‘Nigerian
citizenship’ while outlining constitutionally protected rights for
citizens and persons in Nigeria.
However, by designating the Governor-General as a
representative and agent of the British Queen or Monarch –
instead of the People of the independent and sovereign state of
Nigeria, the effect was to render Nigeria a dominion territory – a
status which contradicted the very nature and basis of the
independence claimed in 1960. In addition, the 1960 Constitution
denied Nigeria an effective dominion over its judicial powers as
it gave final appellate authority over Nigeria to the Privy Council
established by the British Queen instead of the Federal Supreme
Court and its judges. Those fundamental derogations from
Nigeria’s sovereignty and other observed challenges in
implementing the Independence Constitution led to the
enactment of the 1963 Constitution.
Thus, the key features of the 1963 Constitution included the
establishment of Nigeria’s 1st republic under a parliamentary
system of government by replacing the Governor-General
appointed by the British monarch with a President elected
directly by members of the Nigerian federal legislature. In
addition, in place of the Privy Council, the Federal Supreme
Court became designated as the final appellate judicial authority
over any person or matter in Nigeria while steps were taken to
strengthen the independence of the judiciary even further.
In 1966, that Constitution was, however, set aside by a violent
military coup d’etat which supplanted the 1st Republic with
military dictatorship which was to last for about 13 years –
including the civil war period (1966-1969), under 4 military
Heads of State, ending only in 1979 when the General Olusegun

General Olusegun Obasanjo military administration ushered in the 2nd Republic with the promulgation of a new Constitution. The 1979 Constitution set up Nigeria under a presidential system of government with a federal government, 19 state governments, a federal capital territory, 3 arms and 3 levels of government. Like the 1963 Constitution, the life-span of the 1979 constitution was abruptly terminated on 31st December, 1983 when the civilian administration of President Shehu Shagari and Vice President Alex Ekwueme was toppled and replaced by the military dictatorship of Generals Muhammed Buhari and Tunde Idiagbon. That regime seeded 3 other extra-constitutional regimes – the General Ibrahim Babangida military dictatorship (1985-1993), Mr. Ernest Shonekan interim civilian-led regime, General Sani Abacha military dictatorship (1993-1998) and General Abdulsalami Abubakar military administration which successfully ushered in the 3rd Republic on the 27th of May, 1999 with the introduction of the 1999 Constitution. How to Have strong faith in God

As Christians, we all have faith to some degree. The Bible says in Romans 12 that each of us is given "a measure of faith." We operate in faith all the time and don't even think about it.

For example, some of you reading this article have teenagers you send off to school every day. That requires some faith. And we all need a little faith every time we drive in traffic.

Even if you don't feel like a spiritual giant of faith, you can take hope in God's Word that says that as a believer, you have a measure of faith planted inside you.

Is Your Faith All Talk?

Some of you might say, "Well, I have faith. I believe in Jesus." Frankly, it's one thing to say you have faith, but it's an entirely different matter to apply your faith to life's challenges.

When the storms of life come (and they do for all of us), do you stay calm, cool and collected? Or do you allow fear to overpower your faith? Do you give the situation completely over to God, or do you try to figure everything out?

Stuff Happens

It's easy for us to feel like we've got great faith when things go well or play out like we want them to. And it's easy for us to have faith when something new comes along and life is exciting.

But stuff happens. And when stuff happens, how does your faith respond?

“ We operate in faith all the time and don't even think about it. ”
I'm not just referring to big dramatic events that take place...I'm also referring to the little things that pop up and can easily sidetrack you.

For example, recently I was at a conference, and I had a Starbucks coffee waiting for me after one of the sessions. I absolutely love Starbucks coffee. And the coffee was inside one of these big, double-walled Starbucks mugs that keep your coffee warm for a long time. The mug is a copper color, and I really love to use it when I drink coffee.

Anyhow, after the session I went back to drink the coffee, and somebody had stolen it! The mug, even the creamer...everything was gone.

You see, stuff is oing to happen. And years ago I would have thrown a fit if that had happened. I would have cried, "Oh God, why does this stuff happen to me? The devil is always picking on me! It's not fair!"

But I kept the faith and decided that the whole incident was actually quite hilarious. And then I started thinking, Well, somebody might have been cleaning up and thought they were doing something good. You see, I practiced something else the Bible tells us to do: to think the best of people. That also requires faith.

How to Release Faith

Faith is something that must be released. You can possess faith, but you must put it to use. A muscle that is not used gets weak and shrivels up. If you don't use your faith, then it's no different than not having any.

When you sit down in a chair, you have faith that it's not going to collapse. You don't start sweating and trembling with fear saying, "Oh, I'm afraid to sit in this chair. I don't know if I should be doing this!" It's a silly illustration to make the point: You just go plop down in the chair because you do have a measure of faith.

But what about when you have a problem? Do you go plop down in the arms of Jesus and say, "I'm asking You to take care of this and I believe You will."

Do you release your faith through prayer, line up what you speak with God's promises, and do whatever He asks you to do without trying to figure things out? Now that's the way to release your faith!

Give your circumstance over to Jesus and be confident that He's got it all under control. Your life will change dramatically once you unleash your faith. Don't just have it in your heart—let it out, put it to the test and be amazed at what God does through your life!

How to secure your social networking account from hackers

1. Stop using one or the same password for all your social media account: See the reason (My story)

Although we all want convenience that we don’t want to always crack our brains to remember the password we used for a particular account, instead we want to use the same password for every account for easy remembrance, it is always very advisable not to use the same password for all your accounts. You want to know the reason? Cool, continue and read my story of experience.

On this day 15th of November, 2014, I traveled to my village to enjoy Sunday rice cooked by my mother. Earlier to this date, I have used same password for my email account and one of my old website. Back then, I was new to web development and I knew little or nothing about security. During that time and exactly that date, that my website that I developed with amateur knowledge got hacked. You can agree with me that websites can always be hacked, even government websites get hacked talk more of mine then. What are my

saying? Am saying that the email and password that I used for the website was just exactly the same for my email account (I used the same password for my website and my email account). Immediately the hacker got this information through my website, the first thing he/she did was to check out if the email address and password corresponds with my email account, and fortunately for him/her, that was it. He/she was able to login.

How I knew? It started and happened that I was in my village that day, and I only came to eat Sunday rice and leave immediately. As I was bouncing on the rice, I received an SMS on my non-internet enabled phone, a Nokia product. First, I thought it was MTN Nigeria that sent the SMS which is their normal thing. I now relaxed and continued bouncing on the rice. Just after 3 minutes I received another SMS, this time I have to check and know the content. As I picked up my phone, the sender was Google, in my mind, Google this hot afternoon? I opened the first SMS, it “Account Notification: Your account was recently logged in from…..at…..”. Ohhh!, I screamed, but not to end there, I checked the second message, it read “Account Notification: The password for your Google Account ….@gmail.com was recently changed. google.com/password”. This time around, I included blood of Jesus in my screaming.

I now started looking for solution, at least let me recover it. I opened my laptop, the battery was already down. That is the wickedness of Simple Server free browsing. I rushed to my internet enabled phone, it was down too. And you know village matters, PHCN was never dreaming of restoring electric power and I just came in, I did not buy petrol for our power generator. What a world? In my heart, this can’t happen.

I have to leave the rice and take to my heels. On my way going out to charge up my laptop, I remembered that I won some cash and the details was in the inbox. Oh my… I almost collapsed on the road.

To cut it short, thanks be to God, the hacker was  r passwords always use different character types such as uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and punctuation? Are they “strong”?

If you can’t answer “yes” to this question, you’ve got yourself a problem. But the thing is, there is simply no way you can remember all your unique, strong passwords and the sooner you recognise this, the sooner you can embrace a more secure alternative.

Don’t tell me that your name is John Smith and your email address is johnsmith@gmail.com and coming to your social media account like Facebook, your login details is

Email or Phone: darlingtonjerry@gmail.com

Password: “darlington” or “jerry” or “darlingtonjerry” or even darlingtonjerry1. Don’t even try that.

Now my story…

I used to use my name as my PC password. One day, I had only 30% battery left, and I really want to use the PC for something very important. I now shutdown the PC and left. When I came back, I saw my roommate using the PC and the battery now remains 10%. I wanted to get mad but Icould not.

How were you able to unlock the PC, I asked. He said that he just typed my name and voila my PC unlocks.

It was too bad. What is now the essence of locking it before. I really felt a novice.

Please, if you are still doing this, please stop and start using strong passwords like “m7_8hydNigeria^.com*!!6@5”

3. Don’t click “Remember me” or Remember password in public computer. If your password is saved, is a pity

Whenever you are on a public computer such as a cyber cafe, don’t click or check the “Remember me/Keep me logged in” check box.

And also whenever you input your password and hit enter key, you may notice a prompt i.e a popup requesting you to choose if you want the browser (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome etc.) to save your password. Please, click “Not Now” or “Never”.

Do you know that if you accepted to save your password, any computer savvy that comes in can easily check and see your password. You want to know how? See image below.

4. Stop being a Phishing Victim. Don’t click or Login from every link you see.

Phishing is the attempt to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and sometimes, indirectly, money), often for malicious reasons, by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.

For example if someone sent you a mail with the Subject “BVN Update” and when you open the message it requested you to click on a link similar to your bank’s official website, please don’t click unless you are very sure that it is your bank’s official address. And if eventually you clicked, they will take you to a page exactly as your bank’s own with a similar URL. Here, they will request for some of your sensitive information like your ATM number and pin so that they can update your information. That is a lie, it’s a scam. Please don’t fall for it. Always verify the URL of the page before you do any update because once you enter anything, it will enter their database.

Again, they might come for your Facebook account. Here they will send you a link similar to that of Facebook and when you open it you will see a page designed exactly as that of Facebook. They will request for your email and password. If you enter those details and click login, your login details is going to their database. So, verify the URL and make sure that it is https://www.facebook.com before you login.

5. Leaving your mobile devices insecure.
If your mobile devices are linked to your social media accounts, make sure that these devices are password protected in case they are lost or stolen.

With all these tips, I hope I have been able to convince and change your mind towards social media

Whatsapp Is Now Completely FREE

WHATSAPP will drop its annual 69p in-app subscription fee within the next few weeks, co-founder Jan Koum has confirmed. But the hugely popular Facebook-owned app plans to introduce a worrying new revenue stream to replace the yearly cost to users.

WhatsApp is ditching its annual 69p subscription fee in favour of a new business model, founder Jan Koum has confirmed.

The WhatsApp creator made the announcement this morning at the Digital-Life-Design Conference in Munich.

WhatsApp is free to download on Android, iPhone, BlackBerry, Nokia and Windows 10 Mobile and lets users send text, video and audio around the world using a wifi or mobile data connection. The hugely popular app, which now boasts a staggering 900 million users across the globe, charges users a yearly 69p subscription to keep the messenger ad-free.

But that could be about to change.

Founder Mr Koum said the subscription model “really doesn’t work for some people” and that other cross-platform messaging apps, like FacebMessenger, are completely free to use.

WhatsApp plans to replace the 69p charge by connecting companies directly with users via the app.

Mr Koum admitted they have not settled on a final plan yet, but as it stands, it appears WhatsApp will charge multi-national companies to conduct customer service chats and calls via WhatsApp.

For example, an airline could use the app to contact customers about a flight cancellation or upcoming delays.

WhatsApp says despite the changes, its goal remains to avoid spam and unwanted advertising within the hugely-successful app.

In an official blog post, the messaging firm wrote: “Naturally, people might wonder how we plan to keep WhatsApp running without subscription fees and if today’s announcement means we’re introducing third-party ads.

“The answer is no.

“Starting this year, we will test tools that allow you to use WhatsApp to communicate with businesses and organizations that you want to hear from.

“That could mean communicating with your bank about whether a recent transaction was fraudulent, or with an airline about a delayed flight.

“We all get these messages elsewhere today – through text messages and phone calls – so we want to test new tools to make this easier to do on WhatsApp, while still giving you an experience without third-party ads and spam.”

Facebook, which acquired WhatsApp for an eye-watering $19 billion in 2014, is already testing out the feature in its own Facebook Messenger app.

Select US companies have been given the opportunity to pay for the ability to message their customers directly via the app.

Facebook Chief Financial Officer David Wehner confirmed the possible business-to-consumer (B2C) integration at a technology conference in Boston.

“We think that enabling that B2C messaging has good business potential for us,” he said.

The news comes after WhatsApp was named one of the worst smartphone apps for user privacy.

WhatsApp founders Jan Koum and Brian Acton are known for their staunch anti-advertisement policy within WhatsApp.

“We wanted to make something that wasn’t just another ad clearinghouse,” the pair wrote on the official WhatsApp blog.

“Advertising isn’t just the disruption of aesthetics, the insults to your intelligence and the interruption of your train of thought.

“At every company that sells ads, a significant portion of their engineering team spends their day tuning data mining, writing better code to collect all your personal data, upgrading the servers that hold all the data and making sure it’s all being logged and collated and sliced and packaged and shipped out… And at the end of the day the result of it all is a slightly different advertising banner in your browser or on your mobile screen.

“Remember, when advertising is involved you the user are the product. At WhatsApp, our engineers spend all their time fixing bugs, adding new features and ironing out all the little intricacies in our task of bringing rich, affordable, reliable messaging to every phone in the world.

“That’s our product and that’s our passion. Your data isn’t even in the picture. We are simply not interested in any of it.”

★1. Eat More
If You Want To Gain More Muscle Then You Need To Up Your Calorie Intake, Which Means Eating More. If You Aren’t Consuming More Calories Than You Are Burning Throughout The Day, You Won’t Be Able To Put On Any Muscle. Your Diet Should Be Made Up Of Nutritious, Unprocessed Foods That Are Rich In Complex Carbs, Protein, Healthy Unsaturated Fats, And Important Nutrients Needed For Muscle Growth, Energy Production And Good Health. Steer Away From Processed, Sugary And Fatty Foods That Will Only Mess With Your Blood Sugarlevels And Promote Fat Gain.

Healthy Protein-rich Snacks Include Nuts And Seeds, Quinoa, Yoghurt, Muesli And Protein Bars And Balls, And Hummus With Wholegrain Crackers.
★3. Protein Powders Are A Great Way To Boost Your Protein Intake
There Are Lots Of Different Protein Powderson The Market. If You Find Whey-based Protein Powders Difficult To Digest, And You Suffer From Bloating And Gas When You Consume Them, Go For A Brown-rice-based Protein Powder Instead, That Is Still A Fantastic Protein Source Without The Tummy Upset. You Don’t Need To Go Overboard With Protein Either As Excessive Amounts Of Protein Can Put You At Risk Of Putting On Fat.
★4. Don’t Forget To Have Some Complex Carbs With Each Meal
You Need Carbohydratesfor Energy, And To Fuel Your Muscles When You Train To Stimulate Muscle Growth.
